blackberry cobbler

1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. blackberries
melt butter in a 9x13 pan. in bowl stir flour, sugar and milk. batter will be slightly lumpy. pour mixture on top of butter in pan. don't mix. drop berries into batter. bake at 350 for one hour or until golden brown.

*i'm not a huge fan of blackberries, although this was really good. i think maybe next time i'll use peaches or apples with cinnamon.
