tater tot casserole





napoleon dynamite would love this.

it may not look that good-- but i love this stuff. cook the ground meat and add whatever veggies you want. i usually throw in grated carrot and chopped celery. throw all of that in a casserole dish. throw a can or two of green beans on top of the meat (i usually do 2 cans because i love green beans). top that with any cream of whatever you want-- chicken, celery, mushroom-- they're all good. or i have also used leftover gravy and that was yummy too. top the soup/gravy with lots of taters. throw it in the oven at 350 for like 20 minutes. then sprinkle it with some cheese (all the cheese here is pale yellow. i miss my orange cheese!). leave it in there for 5 or 10 more minutes.
